16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (NKJV)
Illuminate is a non-denominational organization. Our Board of Directors is made up of a mix of denominations. We are each a little bit different, but we have two things in common: Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and a desire to work with and minister to students.
Illuminate 2020 is canceled due to the pandemic. Please keep the community in your prayers.
Registration for 2021 will be online, and the camp dates will be July TBA 2020. Registration will take place online. Please ensure that all information is entered accurately. The host site was Clinton Community Church, located at 1901 Sunset Avenue, PO Box 765, Clinton ,NC 23829. The cost of the camp is only $75 per teen (meals and t-shirt provided) and is for teens, 7th grade and above. All students should register by June 30th. After July 1, the cost will be $100.00 per student. Arrival will take place Wednesday, July 17 at 4:00pm. It will end on Saturday, July 20. Due to the amount of space available, we are asking any church group that is within a 10 mile radius to please house your students at your church facility. If you would like to discuss housing, please contact Pastor Dwayne. If a student chooses to make a change to stay on campus, please contact us ASAP at info@ccchurchnc.org. Church groups are encouraged to provide chaperones in the evening. There needs to be one adult per 5 students. You can email illuminatecamp@gmail.com, dwayne@cphc.org or call Pastor Dwayne at 910-592-3624 with any questions. We need a total headcount as soon as possible with the number of boys and girls that will be attending camp. All campers are to register online prior to July 1st.
Each day teens will go to their appointed ministry opportunities. Breakfast will be provided to start the day and lunches will be provided for each work or ministry site. The day’s work will end each day around 4:00pm, and all teens will return to campus. During this time, they will have free time, time to wash up, and quiet time. Girls will have shower houses on campus, and the guys will shower at one of the local schools. Travel between work sites and campus will be on church appointed vehicles and will have adult drivers. They will then have dinner, and at 7pm each night, a service will be hosted in the life center. The services are open to everyone that would like to attend. The speakers for each night are local pastors and youth pastors.
