Illuminate 2020

Illuminate will be held July 2020 at Clinton Community Church. The cost to attend Illuminate is $75.00 per student.  All students should register online by June 30th.  After June 30, the cost will be $100.00 per student. We would like for everyone to register online.  On July TBA, please be at the church at 4:00pm. Churches not within 10 miles will be housed at Clinton Community Church. Churches should arrange and send an adult chaperone  for every 5 boys and another chaperone for every 5 girls.  After registration opens, you can email illuminatecamp@gmail.com, dwayne@cphc.org or call Pastor Dwayne at 910-592-3624 with any questions. Illuminate 2019

10 Year Stats:

  • 24 churches have attended with multiple denominations
  • 1850 dresses 
  • 500 backpacks
  • 157 ramps built and disaster relief
  • Over $7000 collected and tons of food have been collected. Over 250 families have been fed.
  • Stop Hunger-35000 meals packaged
  • 63 yards have been cleared
  • Flex Team-They have painted schools (Sampson Middle, Hargrove, and Butler), worked with the Learning Station, visited adult daycare, and various other outreach.
  • The prayer and evangelism team has visited and prayed over the police station, fire department, detention center, schools, homes, downtown shops, stores, and led people to salvation.
  • 1650 children have attended VBS and there have been over 500 salvations.
  • Over the past 10 years, 1560 students have attended and there have been hundreds of salvations. Lives have changed and impact has occurred. 

 

Illuminate 2018

Illuminate 2018 Stats:

  • Evangelism team visited and prayed with adult daycare, sheriff and staff, detention center and staff, prayed over CHS, police chief and staff, fire chief and staff, Mary Gran, and home visits. 2 salvations

  •  Stuff the Bus collected enough to purchase and fill 75 backpacks.

  • Food Drive collected $1067.00 and 550 lbs of food and supplies.

  • Ramps team built 4 ramps (2 – 35ft and 2 38ft).

  • Dresses team made 200 dresses.

  • VBS teams ministered to 147 children and had 90 salvations.

  • FLEX team cleaned 3 yards, ministered at the Learning Station and Prayer Visits, completed paint on 10 room heaters at Hargrove Elementary, and primed 5.

Illuminate 2017

We had a total of 140 students attend Illuminate Camp 2017.

  • 9 wheelchair ramps were completed

  • Evangelism team went out and prayed throughout the community at the high school for the staff and students, Sheriff’s department, Stuff the Bus site, Food Drive site, and prayed for individuals as they were giving at those locations. They also started each morning praying for the teams as they went out into the community.

  • 185 dresses were sewn for overseas missions and 150 were donated, totaling 335 dresses

  • VBS sites ministered at 4 different sites. There were 55 salvations.

  • The paint team painted at two local schools, Sampson Middle School and Butler Avenue School.

  • $1134 and 1050 pounds of food were collected for the food drive

  • Stuff the Bus team collected a total of $560 and two bins on supplies.  After going shopping with the money collected, they had a total of 100 backpacks.

Illuminate 2016

Illuminate 2016 was a huge success and a blessing to so many lives.  Lives were touched and changed.  Here is a rundown of what was accomplished during Illuminate 2016:

  • 9 wheelchair ramps were completed

  • 210 children attended at VBS sites, 96 of them claiming salvation

  • 9 yards were cut and cleaned

  • 238 dresses were sewn for overseas missions

  • $1230 and 1200 pounds of food were collected for the food drive

  • 110 backpacks fully stuffed for Stuff the Bus

  • Evangelism team went out and prayed throughout the community for individuals , patients, police officers, and much more.

  • Flex team worked at Butler Avenue School, local churches, and Royal home.

Illuminate 2015

Illuminate 2015 was a huge success. Here is a rundown of what God accomplished through a group of 215 teens and the leaders that worked with them. Dresses: 236 were made to send to children in foreign missions. Ramps: 25 wheel chair ramps were built. Yards: 8 yards were cut, cleared, and beautified. Food Drive: collected enough to feed 83 families and raised enough money to get 3 1/2 tons of food. Stuff the Bus: Collected enough to fill and purchase 120 backpacks for children this year. Vacation Bible School: over 110 children ministered to 33 salvations. Stop Hunger Now, (a ministry that feeds the hungry in foreign countries): 10,152 meals prepared. There was also an Evangelism team that ministered throughout the city of Clinton, and a Flex team that did work over at Falcon Children’s Home and locally.

2014 Illuminate

The 2014 Illuminate took place at Clinton Community Church.  Approximately 200 campers made up this year’s Illuminate.

During this year’s event, much was accomplished.

  • 12 wheelchair ramps were built

  • 10 yards were cleaned

  • 155 dresses were sewn

  • thousands of food items collected to feed local families. In all, organizers said, more than 100 families would benefit from the food drive.

  • Monetary donations alone, amounting to $1,200, will bring in 20,000 pounds of food for the less fortunate.

  • Paper products collected were given to Sampson’s domestic violence shelter, U Care.

2013 Illuminate:  Illuminate camp took place the week of July 7th-11th, 2013. Campers from all over Sampson County arrived at Clinton Community Church in Clinton and spent a week serving others, worshiping, studying God’s Word, and glorifying God in Sampson County.

This year was a great success. Missions accomplished:

  • 17 wheelchair ramps

  • 19 families fed for 5 days

  • 9 yards mowed at no charge

  • 185 ministered to during VBS

  • 140 dresses made for the nations

  • 10,000 meals packaged for the nations

  • Through Illuminate 2013, Enlighten The World Ministries’ team got enough food donations to feed 29 famlies And 50 migrant workers.

  • 190 registered campers and an average of 385 in worship each evening

2012 Illuminate Stats

During Illuminate 2012 our youth Sewed 184 Dresses that will go to Haiti, Ministered to 175 children at 5 different VBS sites, Packed over 10,000 meals to be sent over seas to feed families through Stop Hunger Now, Collected two truck loads full of food for Salemburg Food Bank, Cleaned 10 Yards, Visited and Ministered in 4 different Nursing Homes, Built 18 Handicap Ramps, and at the end of an Awesome week of Worshiping and Serving our Lord, had numerous salvations, rededications through camp/VBS and on Wednesday night we Baptized 13 youth and one adult!
