Illuminate Camp will take place the week of July 15-18,2018. The host site will be Clinton Community Church, located at 1901 Sunset Avenue, PO Box 765, Clinton ,NC 23829. The cost of the camp is only $75 per teen and is for teens, 7th grade and above. The cost covers all meals, housing, transportation, and a t-shirt. Registration and arrival will take place Sunday, July 15 at 4:00pm. It will end on Wednesday, July 18 at 9pm.
Each day teens will wake up and go to their appointed ministry opportunities. These are: food drives, sewing dresses for foreign missions, VBS sites, wheel chair ramp building, and yard crews. Breakfast will be provided to start the day and lunches will be provided for each work or ministry site. The day’s work will end each day around 3:00pm, and all teens will return to campus. During this time, they will have free time, time to wash up, and quiet time. Girls will have shower houses on campus, and the guys will shower at one of the local schools. Travel between work sites and campus will be on church appointed vehicles and will have adult drivers. They will then have dinner at 5pm, and at 7pm each night, a service will be hosted in the life center. The services are open to everyone that would like to attend. The speakers for each night are local pastors and youth pastors.
Each teen needs to bring the following: single air mattress or sleeping bag, blanket, pillow, work clothes, clothes for services (casual/everyday is fine), Bible, note pad, pen, any medications (these will be turned in), sunscreen, toiletries, towels and washcloths. There will be no cots provided this year.
